For over 50 years, the EHL Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality in Passugg (EHL SSTH) has been preparing young people for their professional careers. EHL SSTH offers interlinked educational programs ranging from vocational education to higher professional and Bachelor's degrees.

  • Competitive salary
  • 13th month’s pay

Insurance and social security

  • Progressive insurance coverage (10% discount on supplementary insurance with ÖKK, private insurance worldwide in case of accident)
  • In the event of illness or accident (if eligible), employees are entitled to insurance benefits and receive their full salary and bonuses for up to two years

Our progressive work models make work-life balance easy.

  • Flexible work hours (annual working time, 42 hours/week)
  • Paid overtime or reimbursement for additional work
  • Work from home (occasionally, as job allows)
  • 25 days annual vacation for age 54 and under, 30 days for age 55+
  • Additional vacation award to longtime employees (2 weeks for 10 years of service, 3 weeks for 15 years of service, 4 weeks for 20 years of service)

The school hotel is a former spa house and has over 100 years of history. The grandeur of the building and the internationality of the spa guests can still be felt everywhere. Our teaching approach

The EHL Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality, with its three programs, offers quality education on different educational levels. All programs have a consistent approach to teaching: EHL SSTH pursues a training approach where the individual development of each student is the focus.

Our curriculum is designed to develop the competencies needed – at the highest level of quality – to enable our graduates to become true experts and professionals in the hospitality and tourism industry. In order to keep up-to-date with new market demands, EHL SSTH collaborates closely with various national and international industry representatives.

Our own school hotel, the various internships in selected partner hotels and the processing of current case studies guarantee optimal practical relevance of the training. Important values, such as high customer and service orientation and teamwork, are lived daily. Effective communication about different cultures and entrepreneurial thinking are actively demanded. EHL SSTH works with various national and international industry representatives to identify new market requirements at an early stage and incorporate them into current curricula.
